Our inventive flavors offer a modern twist on the traditional. We bake all of our cakes with quality ingredients and finish them off with Italian meringue buttercream, which has a lower sugar content making it silky smooth and less sweet than other buttercreams.

We have a number of flavors that do not contain nuts; however, please keep in mind that we do operate in a facility that processes nuts. We do not yet offer gluten-free or vegan options at this time.

Desserts & Pastries

Not every event calls for cake and we understand. With that in mind, we have created a selection of flavorful desserts & pastries that are sure to keep your guests coming back for seconds…and possibly thirds! Visit our Baked Goods collection to view our most up-to-date selection.

When to Order

We recommend ordering your cake as soon as you’ve confirmed the date for your event. Since we’re a made-to-order bakery, we may occasionally book up, especially around popular dates or holidays. We allow online orders to be placed up to 60 days in advance. 

For pickup and local delivery, we require orders to be placed a full two days before your desired date. Our online ordering system will show you the next available dates for orders. If you aren't seeing availability on a date you want, unfortunately that means we're fully booked for that day.

For shipping orders, you may select a delivery date through our online store. If you need a shipment to arrive for a special date, please select the nearest day to that date when checking out. If you aren't seeing availability on a date you want, that means we're fully booked for that day.

Pick-up and Delivery

We offer local pick-up at our bakery kitchen at 1014 Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland. 

    Full Belly Bakery is not responsible for damage to the cake after you pick it up from our Oakland bakery, so please plan carefully for how you will secure the cake in your vehicle.

    We also offer delivery within a 10-mile radius of our Oakland bakery for a $15 delivery fee. Deliveries are available during the following times:

    • Wednesday-Friday: 3PM to 6PM


    We offer complimentary two-day express shipping for Bundle orders. Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will incur an additional $30 charge.

    During checkout, you will be able to select the date you’d like your order delivered. Orders ship two days before your desired delivery date via UPS 2nd Day Air. 

    Most orders arrive on time, but sometimes it can take an extra day due to shipping carrier challenges. Delivery by a specific date is not guaranteed. We will send you the shipping confirmation and tracking number via email when your order leaves our bakery.

    Once the order leaves our bakery, it's in the hands of the shipping carrier. Please check your tracking information and make plans to receive your package when it is delivered. We do not provide refunds for stolen packages or packages delivered to incorrectly entered addresses.

    Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We also cannot deliver to APO/FPO or P.O. Box addresses.

    Order Changes & Cancellations

    For orders placed through our online store, you can cancel your order or reschedule up to 72 hours before your confirmed pick-up or delivery date. 

    If you placed an order for shipping outside the Bay Area, we cannot accommodate order changes or cancellations after you submit your order, as we prepare these items for shipping within hours of your purchase.

    For Custom Design Wedding Cakes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the event date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the event. You may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days prior to the event date. If you cancel within 14 days of the event, we will not be able to provide a refund.

    Why can’t I select my desired pick-up or local delivery date at checkout?
    We are open Wednesday-Sunday, and we require orders be placed a full two days before your desired date. Our online ordering system will show you the next available dates for orders. If you are trying to order more than two days out and aren’t seeing availability on a date you want, unfortunately that means we're fully booked for that day.
    Can I order on a day that you're not open?
    No. Our small bakery team works hard and needs to take a few days off each week. If you need a cake for a special date, we suggest ordering for a day when we're open that is closest to when it is needed.
    Can I get a cake tomorrow?
    You can’t hurry great cake! We require orders be placed a full two days before your desired date. This allows our small team time to prepare all the cake, fillings and buttercream from scratch. We hope you’ll consider coming back when you’re able to order a few days in advance. 
    How long will my cake stay fresh?
    By the time you pickup your cake or receive your delivery, it is at its peak freshness. Our cakes are best eaten immediately, since we only use the freshest ingredients and don't use any preservatives. If you need to store your cake before eating it, please place it in the refrigerator or freezer.
    What is your delivery radius?
    We deliver throughout the East Bay within a 10-mile radius of our Oakland bakery for a $15 fee.
    Can I change the frosting flavor or substitute one of the fillings on my order?
    All of our cakes are crafted with cake, fillings and buttercream flavors that complement each other. If you’re purchasing from our online store, we can’t accommodate substitutions at this time.
    Can I order German Chocolate, Red Velvet or another flavor not on your menu?
    Sorry, but we only make the cakes that are on our menu currently. This is because we stock our bakery with the ingredients we need each week (fresh is best!), so we aren't able to accommodate special requests.
    Do you offer cake tasting boxes?
    You can request a cake tasting box for weddings. Let us know you’re interested in a cake tasting box when you complete our Custom Wedding Design Cake inquiry form
    I didn’t receive a confirmation email or text. How can I find out if my order was received?
    You should have received an email from the bakery via Shopify (our online store platform) when you place your order. It will include what you ordered, as well as your requested delivery or pick-up time. Please check your spam filter to ensure it didn’t accidentally get misdirected. If you’re still uncertain about the status of your order, please email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
