Cake Sizes

Whether you need a cake slice (or two!) for a romantic night in or a party-size cake for a birthday bash, we’ve got you covered. Select from the following standard sizes: 

We offer custom designs and large scale catering orders over $500. Please complete our inquiry form to discuss what will work best for your celebration.

Desserts & Pastries

Not every event calls for cake and we understand. With that in mind, we have created a selection of flavorful desserts & pastries that are sure to keep your guests coming back for seconds…and possibly thirds! Visit our Baked Goods collection to view our most up-to-date selection.

When to Order

We recommend ordering your cake as soon as you’ve confirmed the date for your event. Since we’re a made-to-order bakery, we may occasionally book up, especially around popular dates or holidays. We allow online orders to be placed up to 60 days in advance. 

For pickup and local delivery, we require orders to be placed a full two days before your desired date. Our online ordering system will show you the next available dates for orders. If you aren't seeing availability on a date you want, unfortunately that means we're fully booked for that day.

For shipping orders, you may select a delivery date through our online store. If you need a shipment to arrive for a special date, please select the nearest day to that date when checking out. If you aren't seeing availability on a date you want, that means we're fully booked for that day.

Pick-up 

We offer pick-up from our retail location 2087 Mountain Blvd, Oakland, CA 94619.

Full Belly Bakery is not responsible for damage to your cake after pick up, so please plan carefully for how you will secure the cake in your vehicle.

Delivery

We are open Thursday - Sunday. We offer free pick-up from our Oakland bakery.

We offer different delivery styles to fit every order. We partner with a third party delivery service for the majority of our orders. They offer:

Standard Delivery: Perfect for packaged goods, boxed items, and everyday treats.

Specialized Delivery: Designed for delicate items like tiered cakes, intricate pastries, and anything that needs extra attention in transit. 

In-House Delivery : For any extra special occasions we do offer in-house delivery. Please call or email our shop directly to schedule.

THIRD PARTY DELIVERY RATES 

Standard Delivery
Base rate: $12 + $0.50/mile (up to 20 miles)
Longer distances: rate gradually increases beyond 12 miles

Specialized Delivery
Base rate: $37 + $0.50/mile (up to 20 miles)
Beyond 20 miles: $2.30/mile

Example: a 22-mile delivery with Specialized Handling = $37 + (20 × $0.50) + (2 × $2.30) = $51.60

Note: For customers in the Bay Area or SF, longer distances will result in noticeably higher rates. See How It Works for more details.

Order Changes & Cancellations

For orders placed through our online store, you can cancel your order for a refund or reschedule your order up to 72 hours before your confirmed pick-up or delivery date. We can not accommodate refunds or reschedules after 72 hours.

If you placed an order for shipping outside the Bay Area, we cannot accommodate order changes or cancellations after you submit your order, as we prepare these items for shipping within hours of your purchase.

For Custom Design Cakes or Large Scale Catering Orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the event date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the event. You may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days prior to the event date. If you cancel within 14 days of the event, we will not be able to provide a refund.
