Like our Signature Cakes, our custom cakes are designed in a creative, modern style. We specialize in buttercream designs and do not utilize fondant. Custom cakes are priced according to the size and complexity of the design. Prices for custom cakes start at $125 for a small 6in cake, $200 for a medium 8in cake, and $300 for a small two tiered cake.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?
Please allow as much lead time as possible. We recommend starting the inquiry process at least 2-3 weeks before your event date. Since we’re a made-to-order bakery, we may occasionally book up, especially around popular dates or holidays. Our availability is not guaranteed until an order has been confirmed via email and payment received.
What is the process for ordering a Custom Design Cake?
To get started, fill out our inquiry form. We’ll be back in touch in 24-48 hours via email to discuss your design. We’ll send you a cost estimate and invoice for your deposit. Once you’ve paid your deposit, we’ll confirm you on our calendar and get to work on creating you an amazing cake. The remaining balance will be due 14 days prior to the event. Our availability is not guaranteed until an order has been confirmed via email and payment received.
Do you offer delivery for Custom Design Cakes?
We offer delivery throughout the East Bay. Custom Design Cake delivery prices range based on the distance from our Oakland bakery.

We offer a full menu of our signature cake flavors. We’ll help you narrow down your choices and select flavors that will delight your loved ones. 
Can you design a cake that matches my event’s color or theme?
In our inquiry form, let us know the type of event, color palette, and any ideas or inspiration you have for the design. We’ll then schedule a call to finalize your design and get to work on making your vision a reality.
How do handle payments for Custom Design Cakes?
For Custom Design Cakes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the event date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event. If your event is within three weeks, you will make the full payment upon booking.
What if I need to cancel my order?
For Custom Design Cakes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the event date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to the event. You may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days prior to the event date. If you cancel within 14 days of the event, we will not be able to provide a refund. Any orders placed within 14 days require full prepayment.
